Soprano Plc joins Ambitious.Africa

Soprano Plc acts according to its collaboration strategy and becomes a member of Ambitious.Africa network.

Ambitious.Africa wants to be at the forefront of highlighting and celebrating the uniqueness of Africa on a global platform through the areas of education, entrepreneurship, and entertainment.

The organization connects young changemakers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in Africa and the Nordic countries through online matchmaking events.  

Soprano shares this vision as it has been the leading private training organization in the Nordic countries for years providing training to working professionals and entrepreneurs. Now it intends to expand its activities to Africa and provide the same quality training to the young people, working professionals, and entrepreneurs in Africa.

Digitalization offers new possibilities to offer training in a cost-effective way to thousands of people. Soprano believes that with scalable online programs that yield measurable results we can strengthen the capabilities of African people.

Africa has taken enormous leaps in development in the past decades, but the progress does not always spread evenly. There are still areas in which assistance is needed.

Soprano alone cannot reach every corner of the whole continent, so we have chosen to join the movement to strengthen our own presence on the African continent. This is an excellent opportunity for Soprano to find the best partners to work with and grow as an international education provider in the African market.

We have already started to collaborate with some partners in a few African countries already. We are convinced that Finnish teachers and Finnish pedagogy are among the best in the world. We have had the opportunity to collaborate in teacher training in Mozambique to make local teachers the superstars of the 21st century.  We believe that learning is a journey of a lifetime, and we offer entrepreneurial and other types of training to people, who want to develop their skills to meet working life demands. We have already trained entrepreneurial skills to young people in Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria, and we are looking forward to expanding our activities in other African countries.

Africa is a huge continent offering endless opportunities for companies to collaborate with local partners. Soprano is a new actor there, and in order to reach all the Africans willing to learn, we hope to find local partners who want to work together with us. We want to follow Ambitious.Africa’s example and expand our network to all African countries.
